The bronze Pastoral Dreamer sculpture is 19 feet long. The original sculpture was created by David Phelps in 1989. From that, bronze statues were created by Deep in the Heart Art Foundry in Bastrop, TX. There are or were identical castings displayed in Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Easton, MD; Golden Beach, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Edgartown, MA; Wayzata, MN; Santa, Fe, NM; and Norman, OK. I think the statue in Norman was the first. The statue in Leawood was installed in 2005. [Grapevine map]; [The Woodlands map]; Leawood, KS
